While some of the political parties, and by extension, the Vice-Chairman of the PNC, believe the EC has made a solid case for a new register in terms of cost, time and credibility, Bernard Mornah and the Inter-Party Coalition Against the New Voter’s Register had vowed to resist attempts to compile a new register. “I am saying that I am the National Chairman, if anybody has a contrary opinion, that should be the person’s opinion. Demo against new Voters’ registerMeanwhile, the Inter-Party Resistance Against New Voter Register has planned to stage three different demonstration exercises against the Electoral Commission to protest the compilation of a new voters’ register ahead of the 2020 general elections. The group is made up of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), People’s National Convention (PNC), United Progressive Party (UPP), All People’s Congress (APC) and United Front Party (UFP).
