Earlier on Sunday, Fatema Begum, an office assistant at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), made a confessional statement regarding the PMO document scam. After recording her statement, the court sent Fatema to jail. “According to her statement, Fatema confessed to providing the document to a forgery racket for only Tk20,000. On May 5, Md Rafiqul Alam, Director-7 at the Prime Minister's Office, filed a case with Tejgaon police station against the accused.
