PML-N leaders unaware of Sharif’s ‘movement for justice’: report

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has announced launching a ‘movement for justice’ but the PML-N party leaders apparently do not know much about it, reports a local English daily. The report says that according to certain PML-N leaders, this ‘movement’ is nothing but just another political statement by the PML-N leader, adding that Sharif has been advised against launching this ‘controversial’ campaign in times like these, when the ruling party is already under a lot of pressure. Many party leaders are of the opinion that this announcement is going to suffer the same fate as the PML-N leader’s earlier announcement regarding the ‘Khatm-e-Nabuwwat clause change’ controversy. According to the Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has not given any advice to the former prime minister against launching of the movement for justice, adding that the ‘movement for justice’ is not an anti-judiciary campaign. He asserted that the basic aim of the movement is the provision of ‘merit-based’ and speedy justice for all without any discrimination.
