PML-N agrees to tender resignations before long march, ready to push PPP to follow suit

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentary party on Monday decided to submit resignations to party leader Maryam Nawaz before the announcement of long march towards the federal capital. The PML-N vice-president said that talks were underway with the parliament regarding resignations, which would also be discussed at the PDM meeting tomorrow. He said that he was ready to hand over the resignations of all the members of PML-N to him. Fazl criticised the recently held Senate chairman and deputy chairman elections, terming them “rigged”. He also questioned how votes were rejected during the Senate chairman election, and were reduced in the elections for the deputy chairman.
