Their lives are at risk due to the shortage of Personal Protection Equipments (PPEs), so many doctors have fallen prey to the deadly virus because of non-availability of PPEs. “We strongly suggest having PCR Corona Test of all the doctors who are on duty without PPEs. The doctors who found to be negative with Coronavirus should be protected urgently with PPEs. The doctors serving corona patients are facing pressure from their families to quit their jobs. Protection of doctors is a very serious issue at this stage.”He said Pakistan Medical Association is also trying to provide PPEs itself to the doctors who are serving the nation in this hard time.
