She said this at the inauguration of a four-day program at the International Mother Language Institute in Shegunbagicha, on the occasion of the Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day, 2019, on Thursday. Highlighting the importance of Ekushey, the prime minister said Ekushey is not for Bangalees only today. “The message of Ekushey spread across the world and International Mother Language Day is being observed in more than 190 countries,” she said.
