Official sources told The Nation that Prime Minister Imran Khan in his telephonic conversation with Sindh Governor Imran Ismail directed him to keep him updated about the progress in the case. “I assure the family of Nazim Jakhio that the elements involved in the murder will be brought to book,” he said. Ismail said that the federal government would provide all possible assistance to the heirs of Nazim Jakhio and would take the case to a logical conclusion. He said that Nazim Jakhio was brutally killed and his family was still receiving threats. “Prime Minister Imran Khan sent me here and he is continuously following the progress of the case,” said the Governor.
