Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached New York to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). An Etihad Airways flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage landed at the JFK International Airport at 4:35pm (local time) on Sunday. On the same day, she will hold a bilateral meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. On September 18, the prime minister will attend a high-level meeting on UN Reform to be hosted by US President Donald Trump. Later, the prime minister will attend a reception to be hosted by the Bangladesh community at New York Marriot Marquis.
