Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the expanded runway at the Cox’s Bazar International Airport for the movement of wide- bodied aircrafts. With this, she paved the way for the airport to start international flight operations. Sheikh Hasina opened Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf Marine Drive around 11:20am in Inani. She will also inaugurate some other development works including Cox’s Bazar Medical College Hospital, Cox’s Bazar IT Park, the Naf Tourism Project, and two floating LNG terminals in Moheshkhali. The prime minister will address a public meeting at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in the afternoon.
