Photo: PMODHAKA, March 30, 2026 (BSS) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today joined the namaz-e-janaza of noted educationist Professor Dilara Hafiz at the south plaza of the Sangsad Bhaban here. “Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman joined the Namaz-e-Janaza of Dilara Hafiz, wife of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) speaker Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, at 12 noon today,” said a PMO press release. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, representatives on behalf of the President, BNP leaders and government officials paid their last homage to Dilara Hafiz after the janaza. Later, Dilara Hafiz was laid to eternal rest at the Banani Military Cemetery after the second janaza.
