Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants BEPZA to demonstrate its efficiency through its operation of the newly designed Special Economic Zones (SEZs) across Bangladesh. The premier also praised the role of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) in the successful operation of the Export Processing Zones (EPZs) in the country. “My government for the first time organized BEPZA Investors Conference with participation of investors from home and abroad,” she said. The government has organized the summit to inform people about the successes of BEPZA under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. “I hope that BEPZA will be successful in running the Economic Zones like the EPZs,” the premier said.
