Share:ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has called a meeting of the PTI core committee today to discuss the party in recent LG polls in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa and chalk out a strategy to improve party connectivity with masses. The meeting would be attended by spokespersons of the party as well as senior party leadership and cabinet ministers. The meeting would be briefed about all LG election plans, the nomination of candidates and reasons for fall in the polls. Sources told The Nation that Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to take the final decision of holding investigations at party level into the defeat in KP LG elections. The core committee would also discuss the options on how to counter opposition in the parliament as opposition is creating trouble for the government in the National Assembly.
