Share:ISLAMABAD - Foreign office and National Security Division (NSD) have given fresh briefing to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Pakistan US relations and virtual democracy summit, taking place in Washington on December 9-10, and advised the prime minister to attend the summit which would be in the interest of Pakistan. The US president has invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to the summit. It would be the first time virtual contact between Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Biden in the summit. “Prime Minister Imran Khan would take a decision on Wednesday about the summit," an official source told the Nation. Sources told the Nation that both NSD and foreign office advised the prime minister that virtual democracy summit is an important global event, where Pakistan would be sharing its democracy story and other steps being taken for strengthening the democracy, fighting corruption and protecting human rights.
