Shahzad Akbar on Monday had tendered his resignation from the post. As per sources, after accepting Akbar’s resignation, consultation is being held on two names for the post, the final decision of which will be taken by PM Imran Khan. According to sources, the reason for Shahzad Akbar’s resignation was the anger of the prime minister. A few days ago, Imran Khan sought details of cases in the courts and the details given by Shehzad Akbar were incomplete.
