“I extend my heartfelt apology to all countrymen and I strongly feel that you will forgive me. “They (the poor) must be wondering what kind of Prime Minister they have, who has pushed them to the brink. My wholehearted apology to them,” the Prime Minister added, making a fervent outreach. The Prime Minister referred to the ill-treatment of people staying at home in self-quarantine because of suspected infection and said it was very painful. We need to understand that in the current circumstances, we need to ensure social distance, not human or emotional distance.
