Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized on Sunday, December 28, 2025, government’s commitment to achieving the highest levels of social justice through coordinated ministerial efforts and enhanced public spending efficiency, while considering socio-economic dimensions. Madbouly made the remarks while chairing the meeting of the ministerial committee for Social Justice. The meeting reflects the government’s commitment to bolstering the social protection system for targeted groups, relying on accurate and integrated databases, Madbouly said. The meeting tackled to the decision to automatically enroll categories registered in the databases of approved cash and social support programs at the Ministry of Social Solidarity—such as Takaful and Karama—into the Comprehensive Health Insurance System, the spokesman said. Progress achieved so far in the “beneficiaries’ data update form” was also reviewed, in preparation for the gradual nationwide rollout, which will contribute to unifying databases and strengthening governance of the subsidy system, the spokesman went on to say.
