Sheikh Hasina said it is not possible for a country to march forward without ensuring peace, reports UNB. The prime minister thanked law enforcement agencies for their relentless efforts, saying that terrorism and militancy are a global problem, but in Bangladesh the government has been able to keep it in check. Noting that Bangladesh has been able to gain recognition as a developing country, she urged people from all walks of life to work together to establish a developed and prosperous country. The prime minister thanked the people of the country for their trust and confidence in her to serve them once again.
