Pakistan women's football team returned home on Friday, after bagging the second position in the Women's International Friendly Tournament – Saudi Arabia 2023. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) officials were present at the airport to welcome the team. Chairman of PFF Normalisation Committee Haroon Malik along with other NC members welcomed the national team at Football House, Lahore. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took to his official Twitter handle and congratulated the Pakistan women football team for standing 2nd. We are working on policy to promote football and women’s sports in Pakistan," said the premier while sharing the clip of Khan’s goal against Saudi Arabia.
