Some five million families will get the food support for the months of March, April, September, October and November every year. Such facility for the ultra-poor families will be available during the months of March, April and September, October and November of the year. Under the programme, selected cardholders will get 30kg rice every month through village ration dealers. The ultra-poor families have been selected through the local public representatives. They will get 30 kg rice in September, October and November in 2016 and March and April in 2017.
