Photo: PTINew Delhi: Decision-making in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is driven not by ideology but by “pragmatism”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday. “I believe that idealism and ideology alone are not enough for economic decision-making; apart from this pragmatism and practicality should also get their space. To make India a self-reliant economy, Modi urged CPSEs to help India import less by adopting alternative technologies for import substitution. Modi exhorted CPSEs to help in making a New India through changes in technology and processes.
