A 2014 National Child Awardee for his achievements in sports, adventure and social service, Aaryan's acts of community service and social responsibility has also earned him the Gandhi Seva Medal in 2012. Talented 11-year-old Aaryan Balaji's day was made when he was given an opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently in the midst of the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament. He is practicing hard for four events (under-14) (400m, 800m, 10K and 42K Marathon and utterly focussed to earn the first medal for India. Aaryan is preparing to climb Everest from north side (Tibet) in 2018.
