PM Modi leaves for Japan to attend former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe’s funeral

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Japan today evening to attend the state funeral of ex-Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, who was killed on July 8 during an election campaign in Nara city. As per ABP News sources, PM Modi will also make a courtesy call to Abe’s wife Akie Abe to offer condolences. The Indian PM would also meet separately with his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida while in Japan, as per an earlier announcement from the external affairs ministry. Prime Minister Modi’s visit would last less than a day as he would leave Japan on September 27 and be back in Delhi after midnight. While the Japanese government is busy preparing for Shinzo Abe’s state funeral, the Japanese public is enraged as the government of Japan exploits the money of taxpayers.
