Ahead of upcoming Tamil Nadu elections, BJP President J. P. Nadda has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first PM who visited Jaffna and ensured safety of Tamil minorities. “PM Modi is the first PM to visit Jaffna in Sri Lanka. He also sent Minister S Jaishankar to Sri Lanka and ensured that Tamil minorities were safe. “PM Modi has brought Tamil Nadu in the mainstream. “Eleven medical colleges have been given to Tamil Nadu, the highest number in the nation,” he added.
