Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Inter-State Council (ISC) meeting in the National Capital. -Vajpayee ji said "for a big nation like India, debate, deliberation & discussion affects policies"-The nation can only progress if the state governments and the centre work shoulder to shoulder. Addressing 31 chief ministers, Modi said that it was important to build strong Centre-State relations to ensure a bright future for the country. The meeting will also debate on the use of Aadhaar as an identifier and use of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for subsidies.
