Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s approval rating stood at 70 per cent in May this year, a recent report by Ipsos IndiaBus said on Tuesday. This shows a slight dip from the PM’s earlier rating of 75% in February, according to the findings by the Ipsos survey. AdvertisementAccording to Ipsos, PM Modi’s approval rating was relatively lower for metros (53 per cent), self employed (43 per cent) and south zone (31 per cent). As many as 52 per cent people even disapproved of him in the south zone, the report said. Discussing the hits and misses of the Modi government, the survey report said education system, sanitation and cleanliness, and healthcare emerged the top performance areas.
