Resolu­tion reques­ting award for the premie­r moved in the Nation­al Assemb­ly Secret­ariatISLAMABAD . : Following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s goodwill gesture of releasing captured Indian Airforce (IAF) pilot, a resolution requesting a Nobel Peace Prize for the premier has been moved in the National Assembly Secretariat, notification released by the Ministry of Information stated. Imran Khan wins praise over captured pilot’s releaseThe resolution has been moved by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry. It argued that the prime minister “played a sagacious role in de-escalating tensions between Pakistan and India”. The war hysteria whipped by Indian leadership led the two arch-rivals to brink of an all-out conflict, the resolution stated.
