Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the chief ministers and governors in all provinces to ensure productive use of all palatial government buildings and thereby generate revenue from their use and bring down maintenance costs, a local media outlet reported on Tuesday. The prime minister explained that lavish lifestyles are not affordable in a time of economic crisis. The letter also mentioned that the premier would personally monitor progress on this front.
