ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan himself paid for the carpeting of road in front of his Bani Gala residence. Informed sources said that the prime minister paid for the carpeting of road from Insaf Chowk till his residence from his own pocket. Sources said that the carpeting was done by Capital Development Authority (CDA) at a cost of Rs3 million. The prime minister has sent the cheque of Rs3 million to CDA. The security institutions had recommended carpeting of the road so there are no hurdles in the emergency movement of vehicles from the area.
