Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit Italy and Vatican City on February 12-14. The premier will visit Italy on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The premier is also scheduled to meet with Pope Francis during her visit to Vatican City. Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury are among the officials accompanying the prime minister during the visit. The prime minister will leave for the tour on February 11 and is expected to return to Dhaka on February 15.
