The Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, followed up last Thursday with the Chairman of the Medical Supply Organisation (MSO), Abdulaziz Shamam, on the measures taken by the MSO to complete the contractual procedures for the companies that were awarded medical supply bids. Medicines to be supplied only through LCs and from official manufacturers/suppliersAldabaiba issued instructions to the MSO on the necessity of continuing coordination and cooperation with the tender committee to implement all needs for medicines and medical supplies. The Tripoli government said the PM stressed that medicines should not be provided by direct commission or from non-manufacturing companies or unofficial distributors.
