Congress leader and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday taunted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the “cloud-radar” remark, saying the Prime Minister’s truth has now come on “people’s radar” and it was time for him to put his radar on the unfulfilled promises. At a rally in Punjab’s Bhatinda, she also accused the Prime Minister of resorting to politics of lies for political gains. “While Baba Nanak always said tera tera, for the SAD-BJP it had always been a case of mera mera,” she said. Ms. Vadra said after hearing the Prime Minister’s speeches, one would think that the only development in this country has taken place in the last five years. “Far from generating 2 crore jobs a year, the government had cut down jobs by 5 crore, with 24 lakh government posts lying vacant and 50 lakh jobs lost in demonetisation alone,” she said.
