PETALING JAYA: Effective June 1, there will be no further toll payments for a portion of the highway from the Sungai Besi toll plaza to the Old Klang Road interchange. PLUS Malaysia Berhad said that it will no longer be collecting any toll along this route on behalf of Metramac, the concessionaire of Sungai Besi Expressway. Thus, the toll payment at the Sungai Besi toll plaza for destinations north to Juru, Penang or southbound to Skudai, Johor, have been reduced. The reductions in toll charges are from RM0.40 to RM1.70, depending on vehicle class. For example, Class 1 vehicles driving from UPM to Sungai Besi will now pay RM0.80 compared to RM1.60 previously.
