PLDT Enterprise launches Smart WiFi in Port of Cagayan de Oro
Representatives from PLDT-Smart, Philippine Ports Authority and Cagayan de Oro City LGU, led by Mayor Oscar Moreno, Ben Melasa of PLDT Enterprise and Jessica Angeles of PPA, witnessed the ceremonial firing up of Smart WiFi at the Port of Cagayan de Oro. ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head of PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups Jovy Hernandez shared his sentiments on the partnership. “We at PLDT Enterprise commend the local government of CDO for enabling the port with fast and free public Wi-Fi. As one of the country’s busiest terminals, reliable connectivity is essential for the thousands that pass through the port daily. With Smart WiFi, more people will now be able to communicate easily, even while in transit—a must in today’s dynamic and connected world,” Hernandez said.
