China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has rebutted External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's statement on Monday regarding the reported airspace violation by Chinese helicopters in the border near Barahoti in Uttarakhand. TRANSGRESSION INCIDENTS IN THE PASTOfficials had said that "two suspected Chinese helicopters" had been seen hovering over Barahoti, in Chamoli district. The then Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar played down that incident and attributed it to differing perceptions of the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
