KUALA LUMPUR: A consortium made up of Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd (PHB), UEM Group Bhd and Japan’s Medical Care Service Inc (MCS) today unveiled Rei Seraya Residence, Malaysia’s first unique and luxury senior living with care services project. The two options are Assisted Living, a type of care provided for illnesses ranging from dementia, respite palliative and day care services, and Independent Living, a care related services provided upon request by the residents. Rei Seraya is part of the Group’s plan to create a medical hub consisting of Gleneagles Hospital, the senior living centre and a planned rehabilitation centre, located at Jalan Ampang. "The Discovery Gallery also provides an opportunity for us to showcase a building that is senior friendly and care services by one of Japan’s leading senior living care provider. Care services at Rei Seraya will be provided by MCS, a Japan-based company that has bern providing care services for the elderly since 1999 and operates more than 280 facilities in Japan, China and Philippines.
