More volleyball stars have joined the effort to raise funds for frontliners in the battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Alyssa Valdez, Charo Soriano, Gretchen Ho and Dzi Gervacio with the Volleyball Community Gives Back (VCGB), an organization of Philippine volleyball players launched Raffle for Heroes. Alumni from University of the Philippines and University of the East, and the SEA Games women’s beach volleyball team led by Sisi Rondina also contributed to the project. Raffle tickets cost P300 and without buying limit, though people can still donate any amount through bank and mobile payment applications. Let us save theirs, too,” said Soriano, who donated her Best Receiver trophy during the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 70.
