Regina Capital Development Corp. managing director Luis Limlingan also said the positive sentiment was boosted by the latest earnings reports, including that of Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson. Both Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson reported growth in its earnings results in the second quarter. A report from AP said Asian indices followed Wall Street's climb as "optimism about an economic recovery appeared to outweigh concern over rising coronavirus cases and inflation." Total volume turnover was at 1.4 billion shares valued at P3.69 billion.
