Share TweetBy Roy MabasaThe Philippine government is currently coordinating with Kuwaiti authorities for the immediate arrest of a Kuwaiti police officer who was tagged as a suspect in the rape case involving a newly-arrived Filipina household worker in that country. In a report to the Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Mohd Noordin Lomondot said Kuwaiti authorities have issued a warrant of arrest against the suspect, Mr. Fayed Naser Hamad Alajmy, a 22-year-old Kuwaiti Police Officer. Later, the young Kuwaiti police officer reportedly kidnapped and assaulted the OFW. Lomondot added that the employer of the OFW is currently cooperating with the Embassy and local authorities.
