According to the 2019 Henley Passport Index, the country ranked 80th, a six-point lower from last year’s 74th ranking. Japan remained as the “world’s strongest” with visa-free access to 189 countries. Meanwhile, Afghanistan still hit rock-bottom at 109th place with visa-free access to 25 countries only.
