The Philippine Flag was raised anew in Marawi City on Monday morning. Marawi City Mayor Majul Usman Gadamra led the flag-raising ceremony at the city hall signalling the local government's effort to return to normal operations. Gadamra said some functions of the city hall will resume today. This development comes, five months after Maute terrorists invaded Marawi City. He expressed hope that all the promises the national government and many private entities made to rehabilitate his devastated city will come true.
