Aside from human trafficking, the DFA said the memorandum between the Philippines and the UAE also covers the protection of women and children. “The Philippines as a country of origin has been at the forefront of the fight against human trafficking. The MOU would implement procedures, share best practices, exchange information, and promote human rights to combat human trafficking.
