The Philippine air panel is set to hold air talks next month with its counterpart in South Korea to expand their air services agreement. Civil Aeronautics Board executive director Carmelo Arcilla said the air talks between the Philippines and South Korea were scheduled on Nov. 7 and 8 in Seoul. “The air talks is just to expand the current traffic rights because Korea is our biggest market and we need to address the need for more traffic rights,” Arcilla said. The Philippines and South Korea last expanded their ASA in December 2015. Local airlines that have flights to Korea are Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and AirAsia, while Korean Air, Jin Air, Asiana Airlines and Air Busan fly to the Philippines.
