CHINESE Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian said the Philippines’ bilateral cooperation with China not only created many new jobs for Filipino workers but also helped in the country’s economic recovery. Eleven major projects had been completed, ranging from drug rehabilitation to counterterrorism to food security, radio and television services, the ambassador said. China Telecommunications Corp. has joined Filipino partners in the more than $5-billion Dito Telecommunity project, he said. Also present at the ceremony were Philippine Ambassador to China Jose Sta. Romana; the CEO of 51talk, Huang Jiajia; and over 3000 Filipino teachers and their Chinese students.
