GettyAfter a soggy, chilly start to the week, the sun is expected to shine on Bethpage State Park this weekend as the world's best compete in golf's second major of 2019, the PGA Championship. With those lows fading into the past, Woods' quest to tie Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major championships has regained momentum. Woods, a four-time PGA champion, skipped the Wells Fargo Championship two weeks ago because he wasn't yet ready to compete. "I was able to log in the hours, put in the time and feel rested and ready," Woods said Tuesday. Driving the ball in the fairway is a major step toward victory this week for Woods and the rest of the field.
