Officials find water and chemical adulteration in various milk canes during inspection. LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) destroys over 2,000 litres adulterated and substandard of milk in the city on Sunday. During the inspection, the PFA food safety officers found water and chemical adulteration in various milk canes that were discarded on the spot. He highlighted that the PFA action against milkmen and milk transporters was producing encouraging results as milk quality has improved in the provincial capital. He pointed out the authority has constituted several dairy safety teams besides food safety teams to ensure supply of wholesome milk in Lahore.
