PERSPECTIVES: This is why overturning affirmative action is payback for Black progress

So the Supreme Court’s ruling on Affirmative Action, while upsetting, came as no surprise to anyone who has been Black in America for more than a week. But unlike the Dobbs decision last summer, you won’t see a lot of Black folks taking to the streets or demanding a reinstatement of Affirmative Action. White people have watched incremental Black progress and have decided that it comes to an end now.
