The incident occurred in the Port Colony area of Chittagong city around 9am Monday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Sumona Akhter, 12. Assistant sub inspector of Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost Alauddin said the auto-rickshaw collided with the human hauler—leaving Sumona and another girl, Pinky Akhter, critically injured. They were then rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared Sumona dead.
