MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized P7.4-million worth of shabu, or crystal meth, following two different anti-drug operations in the provinces of Rizal and Cebu. ADVERTISEMENTPDEA said in its report on Friday that a buy-bust operation was conducted in Binangonan, Rizal, by operatives from PDEA’s Rizal provincial office and its regional office in the National Capital Region. Aside from the substance, the marked money used to buy the illegal drugs and a cellular phone were recovered from Fereira. In another buy-bust operation at Sitio Univille, Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City, 57 small sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 500 grams, were recovered from suspect Neil Sidra Mayor. PDEA operatives said that Mayor’s case was referred to them through PDEA’s social media page.
