The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has fired one of its top officials suspected of having knowledge on the alleged smuggling of P6.8 billion worth shabu into the country. PDEA chief Aaron Aquino revealed this during the joint inquiry of the House committees on dangerous drugs and government and public accountability on Thursday. “It was found out that agents Guban and Ismael Fajardo had knowledge on the shipments,” he added. The PDEA chief also maintained his earlier stance that the four magnetic lifters found in Cavite previously contained P6.8 billion worth of shabu. /kgaADVERTISEMENTRELATED STORYHouse to detain ex-BOC officer ‘for not telling truth’ on P6.8-B ‘smuggled’ shabuRead Next
