Every year since our founding in 2004, PDA has opposed the outrageous amount of money spent on the U.S. military industrial complex. Rashid, a progressive from a Chicagoland district, is visiting his family in Palestine. Two weeks ago, armed Israeli settlers suddenly stormed the village he grew up in. Rep. Rashid will join us to tell this harrowing story and offer his reflections following a week of violence and demonstrations in Palestine and Israel.As with the NDAA, our goal is to inform and then encourage action.
